Cerberus is a mythical beast in Greek mythology. It is commonly portrayed as a multi-headed dog protecting the gates of Hades. According to some legends, Cancerbero has three heads, while in others it can have a maximum of nine separate heads. The term "cancerbero" is additionally used to refer to a vigilant and unyielding guardian.
